I had today off from work, so my daughter asked if we could go out to lunch together without my mom or sister. We did take my "grand-doll" Rosie along.
We went to Olive Garden and got ice cream after lunch.

Here is my daughter, standing in front of the kids at her school (not just her class), helping the magician with a trick. Apparently, she was the only kid that did not volunteer...so, of course, she was picked.
Her teacher informed us that she did an amazing job. She told the magician her name, talked, and earned a stuffed bunny as a prize.

You may be thinking...big deal. Kids do this sort of thing everyday.

Not my daughter.

She suffers from Sensory Processing Disorder and anxiety. She is incredibly smart and once she is comfortable in a situation, she opens up. But new things and people are hard on her. Being in front of all the kids, where it was probably noisy, and she had to interact with a guy she didn't know (even tho she LOVES magic)...that's a lot for her.

So, what does this photo mean to me?
Everything.
Bravery.
Overcoming hardships.
Growth.

I need your prayers for this beautiful lady.

Noelle is my cousin, my best friend, and like a sister to me.

She was recently diagnosed with cancer and starts chemo today.

I truly believe she will beat it. I am asking that you pray for strength, healing, and peace of mind while she allows the doctors and God take charge of healing her body.
